Abu Dhabi F1 Circuit Raceway, The Most Spectacular Motorsport Venue In The World
Abu Dhabi is rapidly transforming into the business, cultural, sports, and leisure travel destination of the 21st century. Motorsport is a huge part of the sporting culture of the Middle East and Abu Dhabi was delighted to secure the right and privilege to host the first ever Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 1st, 2009. Racing directly under The Yas Hotel, this world-class Abu Dhabi F1 race track is packed with unique and innovative features - every Grandstand seat was covered for the race – a first for any Formula 1™ circuit; The Yas Hotel straddles the track, allowing guests to experience the sensation of race cars passing underneath; cars in the pit lane re-enter the circuit via a tunnel; and drivers who miss their braking point at the end of the longest straight in Formula 1™ will traverse a run-off area beneath the West Grandstand.

With easy access from land, air, and sea, Yas Marina Circuit, the new and spectacular venue of the first Abu Dhabi Grand Prix offers spectators, sponsors, Formula 1™, and other event partners an incomparable experience. Approximately 40,000 spectators can be hosted in covered grandstands around the 5.5km track. Alternatively, the circuit can operate as two independent, fully functioning tracks. Supplementary facilities include the Drag Racing Centre, the Karting Centre, and the Driving Academy.
